Derek Trenholm is a 26 year-old from Boston, MA who has relocated here to Ft. Myers, FL and is enjoying every minute of sunshine and relaxation that the Gulf Coast has to offer. A Berklee College of Music graduate (2005) and a seasoned performer; Derek has a weekly schedule of 6 solid nights locally with a healthy mix of private functions and special events being played from Tampa to The Keys.  

A guitar player for more than 17 years, and a vocalist/performer for the last 5, Derek's eclectic setlist and ability to cater to any style and need has led to him being a first call entertainer for any event. And with the ability to adapt his solo show into the Duo act seen at The Edison Restaurant every Wednesday night with Tito Nieves on drums, the possibilities for what might be next have proven to be ever expanding. 

From Jazz and Classical guitar suited to weddings or smaller affairs, to the Rock, Pop, Funk, Dance, and Alternative you will likely find him playing at the local bars, you never know what might be next. A live show with Derek is like hitting shuffle on your iPod.
